Natural Gas

Natural gas is a naturally occurring gas with primarily consisting  of Methane. Compared to other fossil fuels, such as diesel, LPG  and gasoline, natural gas is considered to be the cleanest fuel  due to the low emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) and negligible  amounts of hydrogen sulfide (H2S). Thus, Gastainer’s goal is to  deliver to the market the alternate source of energy that will be  having the potential and advantage of significant reduction in  greenhouse gases which leads to a cleaner environment.

Natural Gas More Safe

Lighter than air:

Unlike propane & Diesel Vapor, natural gas is lighter than air. It rises and dissipates quickly in  fresh air.

Does not catch on fire easily:

Natural gas has to reach a precise concentration of 5%-15% in the air for it to catch fire.

Below or above that range of flammability, natural gas does not catch on fire.

Non toxic

Natural gas has no color, no smell and no taste. It is a stable gas that is neither toxic nor corrosive.

Natural gas is not water-soluble, so it does not mix with  or contaminate water. It forms bubbles which rise to thesurface and then quickly dissipate into the air.

Cleaner Environment

Natural gas is better for the environment than other fossil fuels. While natural gas is not as clean as solar or wind energy, it is the cleanest fossil fuel energy source available. Natural gas also produces nearly a third less carbon dioxide than coal and almost half less than oil when burned.

Burning natural gas for energy results in fewer emissions of nearly all types of air pollutants and carbon dioxide (CO2) than burning coal or petroleum products to produce an equal amount of energy.
